'Landscape Photography' - From the Perspective of Practice[1]
(…) as research centers on the relationship between photography about nature and the nature of photography. A critical and ongoing enquiry involves how we humans engage with, relate to, and think of non-human nature. It has developed out of her art this practice that examines the notion of landscape as a cultural construct, questioning how an environment or natural phenomena are imaged and framed by photography, video, and related photomedia.
Here, we I set out to consider this practice-led research in terms of earth, time, and light. scale, form, pattern and coincidences. Taking on a new materialist approach by highlighting and unbinding the material and functional properties of photomedia the human textures seen through the microscope— and looking at their correspondences with earth, landscapes and aerial photography —
